Michael and I planted a garden about a month ago and it's really doing good. Don't ask me what's planted where, but, somewhere in it is eggplant, corn, watermelon, pumpkin, tomatoes, squash, & green beans. Possibly cucumber too. Half those things we don't eat but its been fun watching them grow. I also planted sunflowers. I Have one little flower trying to bloom. I'm really proud of it. I just hope we can keep them watered in the terrible heat that we've been having.

She's giving me the "stink eye"

ok, so I never said I was a dog groomer. I decided to cut my dogs hair, or should I say "shave" my dog. Yep, another bright idea gone bad. My poor, poor little poodle. YES, SHE'S A POODLE! Although you'd never know it with the hack job I did on her. Sorry Molly. I promise it will grow back! I got Molly because I knew Poodles didn't shed. I just didn't realize that their hair doesn't stop growing and they have to be groomed. How was I supposed to know? And what is it with dogs paws? Michael tried to hold her so I could buzz them. Yeah right.....she looks like she has ankle socks on! I just gave up on her. Can you tell? If I took her to the groomer now to "fix" her hair cut, they'd probably turn me in for abuse! Oh well, that's life. You gotta laugh at yourself. I do it on a daily basis! Sorry Miss Molly!

Swimmer's ear

Well, Last night Bailey came to me crying about her ear. Her ear was almost swollen shut. I figured she had an ear infection or maybe swimmer's ear. The kids have been in grandma's pool alot this week. I loaded her up and we headed to the emergency room at 10:00pm. We didn't get seen until around 12:30 ish. The doctor said it was swimmers ear and sent us on our way with a script. We finally got home and in bed around 2 AM. Man, am I tired today. I am ready for some more zzzzz!

Birthday follow up

Well, I survived my birthday. My husband took me to see Land of the Lost. We went to the Warren and sat in the balcony. We had a very nice waitress that gave me a free "drink" for my birthday. The food was good. It was really fun and I hope that we can do that more often. Michael and I then went out to a bar for a few hours. We haven't "gone out" in three years. I had fun two-stepping with my hubby. Thanks for all you did for me. I had a great time, I love you Michael.

IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!

This is my attitude today. WHY? Because it's my birthday! Why do we spend our entire childhood wishing to be "older" and when we get "older" we wish we were younger? Kids ..........enjoy your childhood! It goes by so fast! Anyway, I'm not going to tell you my age. I tell my kids that I'm 29! I won't admit to anything else. Ha Ha. I am thankful for all the years God has granted me on this earth. I would have never thought my life would be the way it turned out. I love my husband, my kids, and my family dearly. My goal now is that by my next birthday I will be: healthier, happier, and love more!
